Referrals (Routine) - Now open
As services reopen to routine referrals we will try to keep current updates on this page.
Please note that all Advice & Guidance services are still in place and should be considered prior to a referral.
NBT / UHBW / RUH/ AWP
Routine referrals are now open at NBT, UHBW and RUH Bath.
However, patients may be offered a telephone or video consultation rather than a face to face appointment, so please ensure that your referral contains an up to date telephone number for them or their carer. During the recovery phase of COVID-19, patients who are referred routinely will currently be offered a choice of a trust provider if this is available. Independent sector providers may not be available at this time and access to diagnostics may be limited.
From the 1 September 2020 all AWP teams will be accepting referrals.
We are now able to offer choice of any qualified providers (AQPs) for audiology.
Bristol Eye Hospital and NewMedica are open to Ophthalmology referrals.
DVT referrals can go to GP Care.
Routine referrals can now go to GP Care Urology.
Prime are open to routine endoscopy referrals from 1st September but there will be longer waits than pre-Covid-19. Referrals will be prioritised.
Emersons Green can now be included in patients choices (especially for ophthalmology referrals) for all treatments they offer.
Spire, Nuffield and Circle Bath are open again to referrals
